102 AÑOS DE ALLENDE SE CONMEMORARON EN PUNTA ARENAS‏

En Punta Arenas se rindió un sentido homenaje a Salvador Allende, en el aniversario número 102 de su natalicio.

La Agrupación de Derechos Humanos que lleva su nombre, convocó y organizó este acto en la Casa de los Derechos Humanos, con algunos números artísticos y la intervención del Presidente de la Agrupación de Ex Presos Políticos y Familiares, Francisco Alarcón, así como también del Encargado de Organización de la Cut Provincial de Magallanes, Nelson Ojeda, quien señaló: “hoy los trabajadores no solo destacamos este proceso que condujo Salvador Allende, sino que estamos convencidos que debemos avanzar en la construcción de una organización de trabajadores, que no solo debe luchar por las reivindicaciones salariales, también se debe incorporar la justa lucha que impulsara el Presidente Allende, esto es más justicia social, más participación, más unidad.”

Por su parte Francisco Alarcón recordó que también el 26 de junio se conmemora el día Internacional del Torturado, haciendo hincapié en la continuidad de los procesos a los victimarios y la justa reparación a quienes sufrieron de este flagelo.

En la ceremonia estuvieron presentes el Senador por el Partido Socialista Pedro Muñoz, el Alcalde de Punta Arenas Vladimiro Mimica, La Directiva Nacional de los Trabajadores de Correos de Chile, y los presidentes del Partido Socialista y Partido Comunista, entre muchos asistentes, pertenecientes a ese pueblo Allendista que mantiene viva la memoria de la vida y la obra del Presidente Allende.
